Growing up during the Great Depression, Jim Lorimer has had such a colored illustrious history, as an FBI Special Agent, Football Star, Olympic and National Coach, Lawyer, Mayor for decades, AAU and US Olympic Committee Chairman, 2012 Inductee into the International Sports Hall of Fame along with Arnold Schwarzenegger, and was in the first graduating Class for NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) for the first ever Certified Personal Trainers.
Lifelong friends, Dr Robert Goldman and Jim Lorimer met decades ago on Australia’s Gold Coast at the IFBB World Body Building Championships in the 1980s.
When Dr Goldman recently asked Jim what advice he could give on life’s journey, Lorimer said the last 25 years have been his greatest…imagine your career first really taking off at age 65 and running into your 90s, side by side next to one of the true historical figures and legends of our century-Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger..
